PERFORMANCE DIAGNOSTIC MATRIX

The performance variable matrix displays Madison Connection’s mission/goal, system design, capacity, motivation, and expertise at the organizational, process, team, and individual levels. The boxes in red show where improvements can be made, while the boxes in green show where Madison Connection is successful.

At each level, the performance variable matrix tells us:

  • Individual focus We need to focus the training on helping the individuals become equipped to do their job well

    • Focus on motivation and information/knowledge

  • Process focus  We need to focus on the process (training) and make it shorter while also making it more effective to boost motivation.

  • Although there is room for improvement under the organizational umbrella, it is mostly due to lack of information, which we are already aiming to improve under the process umbrella (through more information in a more effective way during training).
